Tripmaxx
Photos already contain the dates and places of a trip, but the story stays buried in the camera roll. Tripmaxx finds the stops from that data and builds a short film with a map, photos, videos, and music.
Why it is interesting
Trip discovery, editing, and rendering run on the iPhone, with no account and no upload to a developer server. A separate Walk mode records a GPS route and turns an everyday walk into the same kind of recap.
My contribution
I built an iOS app that discovers trips, edits footage, and renders films on the phone, then shipped it to the App Store. I continue to release product updates. I ran the first creator outreach, set up TestFlight and promo codes, and prepared short-form video tests with separate links to measure visits to the App Store page.
